The internet literally died on me for a day and magically sprung back to life.
Stupid technology >=|
So how is everyone going? Hope you Sunday has been as enjoyable as mine =)
But I'd like to start on...Tuesday. Beside the fact that
my infatuation took over me that night, I really enjoyed watching "ハンサム★スーツ" (
The Handsome Suit) It is FUCKING hilarious! Cheesy love comedy...I think only the Japanese movie industry can pull it off XD There were familiar faces there:
Kitagawa Keiko-san and one I didn't see coming,
Yamamoto Yusuke-san. Oh his character was such an ass. But I loved it!! One movie I'll definately purchase soon! Can I ask, is it that unbelievable that I'm 18? Everyone thought I was like...23 or something and when I told them I'm only 18 they all burst out in awwww. Especially the lovely
Rebecca-san. I'm now officially the baby of the class. Great
*le sigh*Friday was splendid. 'twas Eid and spent it shopping with parents and then hanging out with
Fariz and
Zain. I miss hanging out with them boys. It's never been the same when
Ameerah and
Pigar left the scene. But
Team Jar2 has gone strong. Went cruising around the Eastern suburbs...mainly Bondi Junction and Kingsford. Maccas Kingsford got my McFlurry mixed up with someone's Strawberry Sundae but that was all fixed up in no time =)
Saturday went to watch two more Japanese films with
Sarah-san and
Emily-san: "夕凪の街 桜の国" (
Yuunagi City, Sakura Country) and "ブタがいた教室" (
School Days with a Pig). The first is about a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing, Hirano Minami and the tale slowly goes to her younger brother, Ishikawa Asahi. More familiar faces:
Sakai Masaaki-san (Monkey!!!!). I just realised,
Tanaka Rena-san and
Kanari Yuta-san were both in "にぃにのことを忘れないで" (
Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide) with my lovely
Nishikido-san. Small world I tell you. No wonder they looked so familiar XD
School Days with a Pig is about a 6th grade class looking after a pig for a whole year and then promising their teacher that they'll consume the pig once they graduate. It is such a sad tale of life and the decisions we must face in life. The kids were so...articulate...I don't think I was able to makesuch decisions or be so opiniated when I was their age!!! Scripted, I know, but this film is loosely based on a documentary which I find more fascinating. What surprised me even more was their hot teacher played by
Tsumabuki Satoshi-san...I did not realise it was the same man I fell in love five years ago in "
Waterboys".
Why didn't anyone tell me it was Suzuki-san from "
Waterboys"?!?!?!
My god I fell off my seat when I found out it was him. The love of my life back in year eight...we finally meet again ^^ Looking much more finer than before I see!
It made me want to watch the movie again...which I have XDD
Tsumabuki-san to the far right

And now...
*melts* But anyways, both films made the three of us shed tears and we decided to call it a day and not watch anymore films. Yup. Going to buy them two as well.
And Lazy Sunday...went cruising around the city + Bondi with my lovely
ohmonika Was planning on lomoing though that kind of failed. Maybe next time dear ^^ But I did have a splendid time with her like always...even showed her the macaroons at Kinokuniya which made her smile.
You know...speaking of lomo, I might drop by to the lomo store at Paddington before my Japanese class on Tuesday and get my pictures developed. Lovely idea, Isrien =D
Anywho, dinner time!
